SHAPE Alaska Teacher of the Year honors

Health and physical educators work in our classrooms, gymnasiums, and playing fields all around our state, inspiring students to reach for the best in themselves and others. Do you know an outstanding educator, who not only instructs, but inspires? Nominate him or her TODAY for the 2018-19 SHAPE Alaska Teacher of the Year!

Teachers of the Year for elementary, middle & high school physical and health educators, and adapted physical educators will be announced in Anchorage on October 17th, at the SHAPE Alaska Awards Banquet, as part of this year's SHAPE Alaska statewide professional conference.

Each year, superintendents, principals, parents, and colleagues from all around Alaska rush forth to nominate their outstanding health and physical educators teaching in the gymnasiums, classrooms and playing fields around our state! SHAPE Alaska is pleased to recognize outstanding educators for their commitment to excellence, their leadership and their connections with students and families.
